This painting was uncovered in 1869 and was probably made in the 1380s.

Prague - Day 1

We arrived in Prague early this afternoon. From the airport, we went on a brief bus tour of the city. We stopped at the Czech Bridge (also known as the Charles Bridge) and got to walk around for a bit. (Edit: This was not the Charles Bridge. It was a different bridge over the Vltava River. We walked over the Charles Bridge on Day 2. Pictures of it coming in the near future.)

We walked past the Old New Synagogue, which opened in 1270. It is either Europe's oldest or 2nd oldest active synagogue.

We walked as far as a Christmas market before turning around to head back to the bus. In the third picture of the Christmas Market, there is a church in the middle of the background. This is the church where the guys will have their first concert tomorrow.

And a couple more photos from our walk...
